Ruchi recently helped me stage a condo in Manhattan for sale. She did a fantastic job curating high-end pieces to make the place appear larger and more suited to its multi-million dollar price tag. This included a total re-do of two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and large terrace. Regarding the last two, Ruchi remade the kitchen into a dreamy place with fresh cabinet doors and pendants. The terrace? My brokers said nobody wanted to leave the space. The condo sold in four days after being placed on the market with multiple showings each day. The clincher for the buyer was a statement piece of furniture Ruchi said would sell the place, and it did! And if the condo hadn't sold, Ruchi put enough of my taste in there to make it "my" space for however long I owned it. As a repeat client of Ruchi's, I can honestly say I would hire her (again) in a heartbeat.

Ruchi was an absolute pleasure to work with.  She took the time and really listened to what I was looking for in my space and designed it with that in mind, showing me a range of great options.  She never pushed her choices on me but still provided me with great options I might never have considered or would not have been able to visualize without her.  She was always available, easy to contact, very professional and easy to work with.  Her relationships within the industry (contractors, suppliers, etc.) made it easy to get things done. She was conscious of my budget and took that into account throughout the project, providing a mix of options so I could make investments in the right places. The project she did for me was a redesign of a whole apartment and her eye to detail really brought the whole space together in a way that gave each room its own distinctive design but still flowed together very naturally and cohesively across the whole apartment.  I look forward to working with her again for any future projects!

We got Ruchi's name from a common friend and the minute we met her we knew right away that she is the designer we want to design our home. She listens very carefully to what my husband and I wanted and what our family is about. Her suggestions were so right on after understanding our vision. She never forced her ideas to us but pointed us to different directions of where we can go and how we could decorate our apartment. She was patient with us when we were slow in responding to her and also understanding of how life can be so hectic sometime. Her choices were amazing to begin with so we did not have to do a lot of back and forth. She also is a master of using things we already had and were nice so saved a lot of money for us that way. She is honest and diligent and detail oriented! She helps with finding the right people to install art and wall paper and chandeliers if I wasn't sure of who to call. Her folks who work with her are also super professional just like her. If we would think of re decorating our house again in a few years and upgrade it, we will go back to Ruchi in a heart beat. I highly recommend her as a professional, kind, patient and understanding designer along with being a beautiful human inside out!!

Ruchi worked with my daughter on decorating her new triplex. All three floors were a blank, empty slate. Ruchi filled it per my daughter's taste and desires, doing everything from space planning to selecting furniture, rugs, wallpaper and accessories, to managing subcontractors and installation. It is a magical place. It was clear Ruchi cared about making this a home and about my daughter; this was not just another job.

We experienced many delays due to no fault of Ruchi or ours. Yet, Ruchi was flexible, professional, and patient. She was also 100% transparent with all costs (fees and pricing), and there were no surprises.

A wonderful experience for us all. I have already hired her again.

Working with Ruchi was an absolute delight! Not only is she talented and her sense of design impeccable, Ruchi sought to understand me, my lifestyle, and my own tastes. I've heard horror stories about working with designers who try to dominate their clients' living space. Ruchi was polar opposite and cared deeply about designing the space for the people who will actually live in it.

At the beginning of the process, I had a vague sense of what I wanted and found it difficult to articulate. From the very first phone call, Ruchi was able to ask the right questions to draw out inspiration for the project. She was extremely helpful in easing the design process for someone like me who isn't very knowledgable in this area. Plus, Ruchi was working under some unusual constraints of mine, such as restricting the kinds of materials to be used.

Finally, Ruchi offered full-service project management. It was no small task to manage all the deliveries and contractors in a very strict building. My building had very stringent Covid protocols in place and demanded paperwork and indemnifications for every trade, contractor and delivery team entering my apartment. Her plans were detailed, articulate and were promptly approved by the building's reviewing team.

Ruchi is a gifted designer. Our master bedroom project is the second time enlisting her services and she has yet again proven herself to be a great designer. What I love about working with Ruchi:

1.  She listens and asks pointed questions. She really gets to the heart of the intended function and aesthetics that i have in mind but struggle to articulate. 2. She works within budget and my current furniture style. She helped me to figure out what items I want to splurge on and others that I want to be more conservative. I appreciate that she doesn't force me to change all my new furniture and works within the many parameters that are already in the room. 3. Her designs are phenomenal. She has a way of interpreting my visions and ideas into a beautiful product. Each time that I walk into my room I am impressed and relaxed at the same time (the feeling that I want to be invoked).

Ruchi helped design our baby boy's nursery. She is extremely detail-oriented and on top of it. She is responsive and quick to help make decisions - which is especially important in the event of a new arrival to the family. The nursery is modern, stunning and peaceful. We had a great experience and time working with Ruchi. I chose to work with Ruchi because over our phone interview, she not only went over project specs such as size and budget but she asked questions such as how much do I use the space, what feeling the space should evoke for me and if I have a pet that uses the space. My impression was that she was taking the inquiry seriously and was ready to go with working with me. I felt very reassured and have not been disappointed in putting my trust in her design expertise. The task was to provide a fresh look to our living room and dining room combination space, add a bar area in the dining room, and update the foyer. Ruchi was patient in working with us to decide on a color scheme (we chose shades of gray with pops of color such as yellow and red to match art pieces in the room). She helped us make realistic expectations and she was willing to work within and respect our budget. I especially liked that she was able to mix and match inexpensive pieces and help us spend more of the money in the areas we preferred such as on the sofa. Through her design choices and color selections, she has managed to make the narrow hallway feel bigger even with a wall of dark blue storage cabinets and for the dining room and bar area not to feel tight. We are in awe at how beautifully the place has turned out and can't wait to see the finished product when all the furniture pieces arrive. The project including contracting labor (but without design costs) will be around $15,000.

Ruchi is awesome - as a designer and as a person to work with. She had a great eye blending in my own style. While my space is not large, she suggested changes that opened it up. She helped select paint color, rug and furniture. Very happy with where we netted out. Most of all, she is great to work with - easy to share ideas while also having her own pov (she's usually right :)), she wanted to understand what I was looking for and has a great optimistic personality. Lastly, she is value-conscious ensuring we were not spending where we didn't need to. Plan to hire her again with no question.

Ruchi did a fantastic job with the redesign of our master bedroom and creation of a perfect nursery for our first child. She quickly understood our personal aesthetic and came up with a design that met it. At the same time, she pushed us to make choices we never would have made on our own (eg wallpaper in the nursery) and that really pulled the rooms together. She also made sure we met our budget and worked really quickly to get everything ready before baby.
